Leaving

Okay, so i am leaving in a week from today...I guess all of you knew that if not then you do now. Anyways i might get to make one phone call once in a while and i figure i am going to use it to call Miranda and if that doesnt fly because she is sleeping or busy with school or work then i will leave her a message and call somebody else. But my calls will be limited and everything so thats why i figured i would just call Miranda...anyways but i will be able to write probably alot more then i can call so if i do get chances to write and anyone wants me to write them then you better give me your address because im not a genius who knows everything about his family K? cause theres lots of you and you live everywhere so if you want a letter then give me your address if not then you can just hear about it from mom or susannah or dad or somebody.

It figures you won't be calling me--why start now right? :-)

Anyway, we'd love to get letters from you if you ever get a chance. I was just talking to mom about how much I miss the days of getting a letter in the mail. It's a lost art it seems.

Our address is: 1227 Burns St.
Albion, MI 49224

You are right. You will have very little call opportunities. On average you will probably get about 10 maybe 15 minutes once a week to call. I always just called Marni.

Letters writing will give you a chance to share a little more than you will have time for in phone calls, but you still probably won't have as much time to write as you would like.

I honestly think the best thing is for people to write to you. Then if you have a chance to write back you can. We all just need to realize you may not have that chance, but you still need to get the letters. You will be surprised how much you will long for those letters. Marni wrote me everyday, and it is probably what got me through alive and sane. It is just nice to have that little link to the outside world.

I agree with Andrew actually. I think it's the same for missionaries. It's great to hear from them but more important is that they hear from us. I really need to do better about that and I promise I will try to write to you as often as I can.

Are you allowed computer/internet access?

I'm sure you already have my address:
819 N. Berrien St., Albion, Mi. 49224 and house phone is 517-629-3485.
But as Andrew said, you probably won't get a lot of time to write much but I DO want to write you, so as soon as you find out what your address is going to be, let me know pronto or have Miranda call and let me know so you can start getting letters right away.
