Hey everybody,
I just talked to David and he is doin much better! He sounded pretty happy he even sang Leaving On A Jet Plane (he provides the musical entertainment for his flight hahaha) This week is BEAST so he would like it if you would hold off sending letters until Friday. His flight lost writing privileges so he wont be able to reply anyway.... that was about it. Next week, if he gets a call, I'll get BEAST stories to share so that will be interesting...

Did he say why they lost writing privileges? I was just getting ready to write him a letter which I will still probably do as it won't get there before Friday, anyway.
BEAST only lasts 5 days doesn't it?
By the way, this is Judy (I'm on Timothy's computer as mine won't connect to the internet (don't know why) so I will have to use Tim's for a while.)
Glad to hear he's doing better. I can only imagine how bad he's wanting to be done. It's getting closer! I guess going without stuff that he is so used to is actually good practice for his mission since he won't be able to call or text then either. Hope this week goes well.
What is BEAST?

This is good practise for his mission, but on his mission he wont be able to call once a week :(
Umm Im not exactly sure what BEAST is, but what i've gotten from him is that you go without electricity, build your own shelters, shoot guns...
BEAST sounds like a big "Man vs. Wild" experience. Probably kind of fun for a day or two anyways!
When I was in Basic, BEAST was called Warrior Week, which I like better. You basically go live in a tent, sleep on a cot, eat MRE's and do other things that you would in a war zone. You have a fake gun you have to carry with you everywhere you go, including the bathroom, and you Battle Rattle Etc. It was hard but I loved it!
